Move farther with a team you can trust. We help customers relocate from Northern Virginia, Washington, D.C., Maryland, and surrounding areas based on route, availability, and moving requirements.
Moving out of state is a different job than a local move — it can involve different pricing methods, delivery windows, and more advance planning around packing and storage. Haul Bros coordinates long-distance moves from Northern Virginia, Washington, D.C., and Maryland based on your specific route, move size, and timeline.
Full-home, partial, and fragile-item packing is available for long-distance moves, along with kitchen, office, electronics, and artwork packing. Storage-in-transit can bridge the gap when your move-out and move-in dates don't line up, or when you need temporary housing before your new home is ready.
Before your move, we review your addresses, dates, distance, home size, crew size, stairs, elevators, parking, specialty items, packing needs, and destination access. Protection confirmed in your estimate may include moving blankets, shrink wrap, furniture padding, dollies, floor protection, and organized loading and unloading.

Read the guideLong-distance moving estimates commonly consider shipment weight, distance, access, and requested services. The final pricing method depends on the tariff and whether the estimate is binding or nonbinding. Request a written estimate based on your inventory and destination; local hourly rates should not be assumed to apply.
Delivery timing depends on the route, distance, scheduling, and services agreed for your move. Confirm your pickup date and delivery date or delivery window in writing before booking so you can plan access and travel.
Ask whether a fixed-date or expedited option is available for your route. Do not assume a delivery date is guaranteed unless the commitment, terms, and any additional cost are confirmed in writing.
Storage-in-transit is available to hold your belongings temporarily between pickup and delivery when your move-out and move-in dates don't align — let us know in advance if this might apply to your move.
Tell us about pianos, safes, gym equipment, artwork, and other specialty items before booking. Acceptance depends on size, weight, access, equipment, and route requirements. Any specialist handling or crating must be confirmed in your estimate.
Packing is typically a separate service. Full-home, partial, and fragile-item-only packing are all available and priced based on the scope you need.
